The information here is provided as background to our
OCR engine.
Professor Yann LeCun, from New York University, has provided a modified sample of the NIST database of hand-written characters. We found this useful when developing our character recognition engine. yann.lecun.com/exdb/mnist/ |
Note that the data in the MNIST database is in a special format (as explained in Yann LeCun's page).
