Software Installation Instructions

Following are general installation instructions for installing some of the software available for download on this site.

The following instructions relate to downloading an installable package.

Save the program to a temporary folder after clicking on the link.
Open the program from your temporary folder.
Enter the password if requested (beta versions are password protected; email us to request a password).
Follow the installation process.
Delete the instal program from your temporay folder if desired.

The following instructions relate to installing the downloaded files using WinZip.

open the downloaded file
select Install
have WinZip minimize during the install
enter the password if requested (beta versions are password protected; email us to request a password)
follow the installation process
click on WinZip in the taskbar and click on OK to delete the temporary files.

Our software runs on most versions of Windows. To be able to see the images on the toolbars of these programs you will need version 4.70 or later of COMCTL32.DLL. You only need to download this if you do not see the toolbar images and only users of early editions of Windows 95 or NT may need it. If you have Internet Explorer 4 or later you should not need this upgrade. This was available from Microsoft but is available by clicking the link below.
